Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern the use of the website at www.nanyangoverseas.autos and the kit services supplied by KINHO SPORTS LIMITED, a company operating from Rm 510 Wayson Commercial Building, 28 Connaught Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong (HK). By browsing the site, sending a message to the kit desk, booking a fitting evening or placing a kit order, a club or a visitor agrees to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site and do not place an order. These terms apply alongside any written outline or quotation issued by the desk for a specific club, and where a signed quotation is more specific than these terms the quotation takes priority for that order only.
These terms are written in ordinary language so that a club volunteer, a coach or a parent can understand them without legal training. If any sentence is unclear, please ask the desk before relying on it. We would rather answer a question than resolve a misunderstanding later.
The Services We Provide
KINHO SPORTS LIMITED supplies six related services: Jersey Program Builds, Training Wear Rounds, Squad Kit Logistics, Name Set Pressing, Season Restock Desk and Kit Fitting Evenings. Each service is described on the services page, and the description there forms part of these terms.
A jersey program build covers the design conversation, the sample stage and the production of a kit set for a club. A training wear round covers the layers worn at training. Squad kit logistics covers numbered bags, labelled crates and returning sheets. Name set pressing covers the placement of surnames, numbers and sponsor blocks. The season restock desk covers top ups across a season. Kit fitting evenings cover on site sizing sessions at a clubhouse.
We may decline a request where the timeline cannot realistically be met, where the requested design would breach a third party right, or where the requested quantity is too small for the pressing layout to be produced to a proper standard. If we decline, we will explain the reason and suggest an alternative where one exists.
Outlines, Quotations and Acceptance
A written outline from the desk is an explanation of the proposed work and not a binding offer. A quotation becomes binding only when it has been confirmed in writing by both parties and, where a deposit is required, the deposit has been received. Until that point either party may walk away without obligation.
A quotation remains valid for the period stated on it. If no period is stated, the quotation is valid for thirty days from the date of issue. After that period the desk may need to revise the price to reflect changes in the cost of materials or pressing work.
Where a club asks for a change after a quotation has been accepted, the desk will issue a revised note describing the effect of the change. Work on the changed part will not begin until the revised note has been accepted, which protects both parties from a misunderstanding about price or timing.
Placing and Confirming an Order
An order is placed when a club confirms the squad sheet, the kit set, the pressing layout and the required delivery date in writing. The confirming message should name the person who is authorised to act for the club so that the desk knows who to contact if a question arises.
The squad sheet is the central document of every order. A club is responsible for checking the names, numbers and sizes on the sheet before it confirms. Once the sheet is confirmed, the desk relies on it for pressing and packing, and a late change may not be possible without delaying the order.
If a club becomes aware that a confirmed sheet contains an error, the club should tell the desk immediately. We will do what we can to correct the error, but a correction that arrives after pressing has begun may require a replacement name set and an additional charge.
Prices, Deposits and Payment
Prices are stated in the currency shown on the quotation and exclude any bank charge that a club may incur. A deposit is normally required before production begins, and the balance is due before a crate is handed to a delivery partner or collected from the office, unless the quotation states otherwise.
Invoices are issued to the club named on the order. A club that needs the invoice addressed to a different entity should say so before the order is confirmed, because changing the payer after production can complicate the release of the kit.
Overdue amounts may attract a late payment charge as stated on the quotation. If an amount remains unpaid for an extended period, the desk may pause work on further orders from the same club until the outstanding balance is settled, and we will explain the position in writing before pausing.
Samples and Approval
A sample is produced so that the fit, the collar and the sleeve can be assessed before the full build. The sample is worn at a training session and any change is recorded in writing against the sample reference. Production begins only after the sample has been approved in writing by the club contact named on the order.
Where a club chooses to waive the sample stage, the club accepts that the first full build will be produced from the written specification alone. In that case the desk is not responsible for a subjective difference in fit or colour that a sample would have revealed, although we will still correct a clear production fault.
An approved sample defines the reference for the full build. A colour that looks different under a floodlight than under an office light is a normal effect of lighting and is not treated as a production fault where the sample and the build match each other.
Design Responsibility and Third Party Rights
A club is responsible for ensuring that any badge, sponsor mark, name or image supplied to the desk may lawfully be reproduced on kit. The desk will not knowingly reproduce a mark that a club has no right to use, and we may ask for written confirmation before production begins.
Where a club supplies a design that is later challenged by a third party, the club agrees to deal with the challenge and to keep the desk informed. The desk will cooperate with a reasonable request for records that show what was produced and when.
The desk may refuse a design that carries an unlawful or misleading mark. A refusal is not a judgement about the club itself, and we will explain the reason so that the club can amend the design and proceed.
Club Responsibilities
A club agrees to provide an accurate squad sheet, to name a contact who can answer questions during the order, to confirm that it has the authority to share player names and sizes with its kit supplier, and to return crates and returning sheets after each away trip.
A club also agrees to store kit sensibly after it has been received. A shirt left in a damp bag for a week can develop a mark that has nothing to do with production, and a name set can lift if a shirt is washed at the wrong temperature. Care instructions supplied with the kit should be followed.
Where a club collects a crate from the office, the club agrees to inspect the contents before leaving. A shortage noticed at the desk can be corrected on the spot, while a shortage noticed later requires a fresh check against the returning sheet.
Delivery, collection and risk
Delivery dates are estimates based on the timeline agreed at confirmation. The desk will inform the club promptly if a delivery date is at risk, together with the reason and a revised estimate. A fixture date that cannot be met will be flagged as soon as the risk is known rather than at the last moment.
Risk in the kit passes to the club when the kit is handed to the club or to the delivery partner, whichever happens first. Title passes when the full amount due has been received. A club that collects from the office should check the crate at the counter.
Where a delivery partner is used, the club should report a damaged parcel within two business days so that a claim can be made while the parcel record is still fresh. The desk will help prepare the claim and will replace an item that was damaged in transit where the evidence supports it.
Name Set Pressing Conditions
Name set pressing is carried out to a measured layout agreed with the club. The desk checks every pressed shirt against the squad sheet before packing. A club should tell the desk before pressing if a surname contains an accent or a double barrelled form so that the letters can be prepared correctly.
A name set may lift over time if a shirt is washed at a high temperature, tumbled on a hot setting or ironed directly over the pressed area. Care instructions are supplied with the kit, and following them is the responsibility of the club and of the individual player.
A replacement name set for a single shirt is available through the season restock desk. The club keeps the original layout record, so a later shirt matches the rest of the squad even when it is pressed months after the main order.
Changes, Cancellations and Turnaround
A club may cancel an order before production begins and receive a refund of any deposit, less the cost of work already carried out such as design time or a produced sample. After production begins, a cancellation may not be possible because kit is cut and pressed for that specific squad.
If a club requests a change after production begins, the desk will explain the effect on the price and the timeline before the change is made. A change that affects only a single shirt may be handled through the restock desk rather than by reopening the whole order.
Turnaround is measured from the approval of the sample or, where the sample is waived, from the confirmation of the squad sheet. A delay caused by a late squad sheet, a late approval or a late deposit shifts the expected delivery date accordingly.
Faulty Items, Shortages and Returns
A club should inspect the kit on receipt and report a clear production fault, a shortage or a mismatch with the squad sheet within seven business days. A report should include the player name, the shirt number, a short description and, where possible, a photograph taken in good light.
Where a fault is confirmed, the desk will repair or replace the item at no charge to the club. Where a shortage is confirmed against the returning sheet, the missing item will be supplied as soon as stock allows. Where a mismatch is caused by an error on a confirmed squad sheet, the replacement may carry a charge, which will always be explained before the work is done.
A returned item should be clean and dry and should be sent in the condition in which it was received. An item that has been worn in a match may still be examined, but the desk reserves the right to decline a return where the condition makes a fair assessment impossible.
Limits of Liability
The desk is responsible for carrying out the work with reasonable skill and care and for correcting a clear production fault in the manner described above. The desk is not responsible for a loss that arises from a cause outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, a transport disruption, a fire, a flood or an industrial action.
Where a club suffers a loss that is directly caused by a failure of the desk, the amount recoverable is limited to the value of the affected part of the order. The desk is not liable for an indirect loss such as a lost sponsorship opportunity or a lost match result.
Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any limit in this section is found to be unenforceable, the remaining limits continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Intellectual Property on This Website
The text, layout, colours and code of this website are owned by KINHO SPORTS LIMITED or used with permission. A visitor may read the pages, print a page for personal reference and share a link, but may not copy the site wholesale, resell the content or present it as the work of another organisation.
The name KINHO SPORTS LIMITED and the locker room design motif of this site are protected as branding and as design work. A third party that wishes to reference the site in an article or a review may quote a short passage with a clear attribution and a link to the original page.
A club that supplies a badge or a sponsor mark for pressing retains ownership of that mark and grants the desk only the licence needed to reproduce it on the kit for that club. The licence ends when the order is complete, except for a record retained for the purpose described in the privacy policy.
Website Availability and Accuracy
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not promise that every page will be free from error at every moment. A page may be updated when a service changes or when an address changes, and a visitor should check the current page rather than relying on a printed copy from an earlier year.
Where a page contains an obvious slip, please tell the desk so that it can be corrected. We treat a report of an error as a helpful note rather than as a complaint, and we are grateful to readers who take the time to write.
The website is provided for information and for contact purposes. It does not itself form a binding offer, and an automated message sent through a form is not an order confirmation. An order exists only when it has been confirmed in writing as described above.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. A dispute that cannot be resolved by a written exchange should first be referred to a meeting between a representative of the club and a representative of the desk, held in good faith within twenty business days of the dispute being raised.
Where a meeting cannot resolve the matter, the parties may refer the dispute to a mediator agreed between them before considering any further step. The desk is willing to take part in mediation because a practical resolution is almost always better for a club than a long dispute.
If a dispute proceeds to a court or tribunal, the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction, and the language of the proceedings will be English unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
Changes to These Terms
The desk may update these terms when a service changes or when a new practice is introduced. The version published on this page is the version that applies from the date shown at the top. A club with an active order will be told by email if a change materially affects that order.
An order is governed by the terms in force when the order was confirmed, unless both parties agree in writing to apply a later version. We keep a record of the terms associated with each order so that the position can be established if a question arises later.
Continued use of the website after a change has been published indicates acceptance of the updated terms for future browsing and for future orders. It does not change the terms that already apply to an order that was confirmed earlier.
